What is the soundtrack to your days? (ex. a song on your playlist, birds chirping, construction noises, the wind, screaming children.. etc.)

“Definitely birds seem louder. It is spring so for sure the birds are louder. On weekends we are experiencing full lockdowns so with less traffic, they are much easier to hear, at least until my neighbours play Turkish folk music from their balconies really loudly). I listen to Spotify playlists -- 60s psychedelic rock, jazz collections (Miles Davis, Coltrane, Nina Simone etc) and 80s and 90s music (New Wave. punk, grunge etc).” (Istanbul, Turkey)

“Dadi Freyr: Think about things (this would have been Iceland's Eurovision entry this year, and it may just be the perfect pop song. Check it out!” (Hove, UK)

“complaining about school work, computer keys clicking and dogs barking.” (Brampton, Canada)

“We definitely hear the birds throughout the day.  We also hear some sort of siren or alarm from the businesses around the marina.  My daughter plays K-pop every chance she gets, my husband has random YouTube clips on the television most of the day, and I listen to my extensive iTunes playlist when no one else is playing something.  My remote learning availability time is noon to 2 pm, so I usually sit outside on our balcony/deck and play my music to help pass the time as I wait for questions and assignments to come in.” (Havelock, New Zealand)

“I start each morning listening to Dr. Jody Carrington live on Facebook or Instagram while I drive to work. I am also finding that the lyrics of old familiar songs have new meaning now.” (Calgary, Alberta)

“Tom Chapin's song This Pretty Planet; radio reports; news updates; james Taylor playlist; Elvis Presley playlist

The birds chirping and the wind.” (Toronto, Canada)

“My family being loud (vacuuming, unloading the dishwasher, talking on the phone, yard work) even when they try to be quiet because they know that some of us are working.” (King City, ON)

“The tapping of everyone's computer keyboards.” (Grimsby, ON)

“The dawn chorus, which seems so much louder and more varied these days.” (Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom)

Lately I've been listening to music. (Glass Animals, Kali Uchis, 6LACK, Rina Sawayama, Chopin, basically anything on my Spotify I feel like listening to) (Istanbul, Turkey)

“household noises, silence on google meets, Noah Reid and podcast by Brene Brown.” (Toronto, Canada)
